Reflections on the Year Thus Far

July brought about my annual Summer reading slump which always puts me in a reflective mode as we head into the dog days of Summer and the transition to Fall. I noticed I've explored some genres I am not as familiar with, and attempted to utilize my library more (for physical, audio, and ebook!). Let it be known, I get super excited when I can find a book on Libby/Hoopla and instantly hit download (whether it's been on hold or I randomly find a book I want to read). In my current stage of life, I'm more likely to actually get a chance to read it if it's in a digital form.

I also noticed (and I'm sure you have too), it's been a hot minute since I've published anything on this blog. It's halfway through August at the time I write this, and I've noticed I've only written a total of five very sporadic posts this year (this post makes six). As such, I have decided to take this blog to a Substack! If you are already receiving emails from me, there's no need to do anything further.
